What It Means
Someone awake, present and ready, all night long.
When someone finds the night hours the hardest part of the day, a waking-night care professional stays alert and present until morning. Dedicated waking-night care professionals remain awake and available throughout the night, providing attentive support, reassurance and assistance whenever it is needed – so families can finally get some rest, knowing someone is there.
This isn’t a sleep-in service. Our waking-night professionals are awake for the whole shift, ready to respond the moment they’re needed rather than waking from sleep to do it.
